ModCloth history

ModCloth was founded by Susan Gregg Koger and Eric Koger in 2002. They were both students at that time and launched the page to sell online used vintage dresses. In 2005, ModCloth grossed 18 thousand dollars revenue. In 2008 it received its first seed funding. In 2009 the revenue was so huge that they could relocate from Pittsburgh to San Francisco. The company quickly became a multi-channel retailer. In 2015, they opened its first pop-up Fit Shop in Los Angeles, and shortly after another in San Francisco.
